  • Overview

    Process contract sales purchase orders/projects at various stages of the order as directed by the Project Manager (PM). Making sure that orders are handled in a timely manner and all procedures are completed accurately.  The focus of this position is on Waterman’s established customer base, as well as new customers. Work closely with the Waterman PM’s/ Drafting/Engineering department to ensure customer needs are met and any supporting documentation is provided as directed.  Over time develop the ability to read and understand submittal drawings, and project specifications particularly associated with Operation and Maintenance manuals (O&M’s) Waterman must provide for our equipment.




    Processing purchase orders and sales orders after review by the PM.  This includes some or all the following;

    •  Entering customer information into the syteline system
    • Creating job folders.
    • Filing documents in folders, filing folders in filing cabinets.
    • Maintain files in filing cabinet as needed.

     Assist Project Managers with daily duties as needed. Including, but not limited to;


    • Preparing O&M manuals per the Project Managers instructions and per the project requirements.
    • Help assemble electronic versions (adobe/pdf) of submittal packages when required.
    • Coordinate and schedule on-jobsite factory or Rep assistance per the project requirements.
    • Investigate/resolve/re-order any missing, broken, or incorrect Waterman equipment that has been delivered to the customer as directed by the PM.
    • Attends Daily/weekly production meeting as needed.
    • Work with agents and Waterman Accounting department regarding commission questions via phone or e-mail.
    • Other duties as assigned.
